Reserve online and pick it up by appointment. You choose the individual plant off the bench, which is the part a photograph cannot do for you.

Message a photo whenever something looks wrong. Nearly every problem in the first year is one watering habit, and it is fixable.

Light
Almost everything here wants the brightest place you have. Haworthia and the Christmas cactus are the exceptions and will bleach in a July window.
Water
Soak until it runs from the base, then nothing until the pot is dry through. Fortnightly in summer, monthly or less from November.
Soil
Half compost, half pumice or perlite, and a gravel top dressing. We repot anything you buy into the right mix on request, at no charge.
Winter
Cold is survivable and cold plus wet is not. Keep the pots dry from December and nearly everything on this list comes through outdoors.

A photograph flattens a living stone into a pebble and a golden barrel into a green ball. Both are worth seeing at the size they actually are, so the nursery opens to visitors by appointment and collection is always free.
